On May 15, 2023, at Thanh Cong Tower, Hanoi, the signing ceremony of the contract for 04 construction and structural steel packages of the Thanh Cong Viet Hung Automobile Factory project took place, marking a new developmental step in the process of building and constructing the Škoda automobile manufacturing and assembly factory of Thanh Cong Group.

The signing ceremony was attended by representatives of the Board of Directors of Thanh Cong Group, leaders of Thanh Cong Viet Hung Technology Complex Industrial Park Joint Stock Company, leaders of units in the Real Estate sector of Thanh Cong Group along with the Structural Steel Contractor of CPT Group Joint Stock Company and other contractors and partners.

Thanh Cong Viet Hung Automobile Factory, with its 36.5-hectare scale and a capacity of 120,000 vehicles per year, is one of the key projects of Thanh Cong Group in the strategy of expanding the automobile industry, is receiving great attention from the Government and the business community, and is a symbol of the friendly cooperation between the two countries - Vietnam and the Czech Republic. The factory will be the place to produce and assemble Škoda-branded vehicles and is expected to be launched in the Vietnamese market in 2025.

Overview of the signing ceremony

The signing ceremony of construction and structural steel packages is the next stage in the process of building the factory according to the Strategic Cooperation Agreement between TC Motor and Škoda Auto on October 7, 2022. After a period of working and negotiating, CB Cons Construction Joint Stock Company, the consortium of Thanh Cong Technology Construction Production Joint Stock Company and Construction Joint Stock Company No. 1, CPT Group Joint Stock Company and Hai Long Construction Joint Stock Company have become partners of Thanh Cong Group in the next construction process of the factory.

With the signing of 04 packages with reputable contractors, construction and execution partners, the Thanh Cong Viet Hung Automobile Factory project officially entered a new, more urgent and high-level construction phase, aiming to achieve the common goal that the two groups Thanh Cong - Škoda Auto are working towards.
